Pachypodium Baronii- Red Flower

The Pachypodium baronii – Red Flower is a species of succulents that grows in Madagascar that presents an immensely interesting appearance and is characterized by bright red flowers. This plant is rarely found in mid continent region and therefore it has a thick spiny trunk which is beneficial in storing water because oflimited rainfall. However, more appealing to the naturalist is Pachypodium baronii, with spiny, silver-grey branches, top red flowers that stand out against its foliage of glistening green leaves.

Upright and indigenous to Madagascar, Pachypodium baronii only reaches about 1m in height when fully grown; it requires soil with good drainage and a position that is considered to be partially shaded, though it can withstand some direct sunlight. The plant does very well in water scarcity conditions; it only needs to be watered when the soil appears to be drained off the water. Due to this feature, it can be ideal for any beginner or any advanced collector of succulent plants. Because Pachypodium baronii - Red Flower grows tall and<v> umbrellalike, it can be a focal plant indoors in pots or outdoors in warm climate regions.
