Growth Habit: Haworthia cassytha typically forms compact rosettes of small, pointed leaves that can grow up to 3 to 4 inches in diameter. The plant grows slowly and tends to stay quite small, making it perfect for windowsills, desks, and terrariums.
Leaf Characteristics: The leaves of Haworthia cassytha are narrow, elongated, and come to a sharp point. They are primarily green with a glassy, almost transparent appearance that allows light to penetrate through, highlighting the interior leaf structures and patterns.
Container Gardening: Excellent for container gardening, it can be combined with other shade-tolerant succulents to create diverse arrangements.
Low Light Adaptation: One of the few succulents truly suited to low-light conditions, making it exceptionally versatile for indoor gardening.
Ease of Care: Requires minimal maintenance, thriving on neglect, with watering needed only infrequently.
NOTE: Haworthia do like to have up to 70% shade or filtered light and its a good idea if they are kept in pots to re pot at least once per year.
