Neobuxbaumia euphorbioides, also known as the Organ Pipe Cactus, is a majestic and striking columnar cactus native to Mexico. This awe-inspiring succulent is renowned for its towering height and resemblance to organ pipes, hence its common name.

In its natural habitat, Neobuxbaumia euphorbioides can reach impressive heights of up to 30 feet or more, forming a majestic silhouette against the arid landscape. Its columnar stems are bluish-green to grayish-green, adorned with prominent ribs and areoles bearing short, brown spines. As the cactus matures, its lower spines may fall off, leaving a smooth, almost waxy surface.

Despite its towering stature, this cactus is surprisingly slow-growing, making it a long-lasting and cherished addition to any collection. In cultivation, it requires well-draining soil, ample sunlight, and infrequent watering, especially during the winter months.

While flowering is rare in cultivation, mature specimens of Neobuxbaumia euphorbioides may produce stunning nocturnal blooms. These large, funnel-shaped flowers are typically white or pink.

The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 130mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
