  • Shape and Size: The Pincushion Cactus Geminispina forms cylindrical stems that can grow both solitary and in clusters, creating a dense, cushion-like appearance as the plant matures.It typically reaches a height of up to 10 inches (25 cm) and can spread up to 20 inches (50 cm) wide.  

  • Spines: The stems are covered in white down and numerous white spines. The central spines are typically longer and darker than the radial spines, creating a beautiful contrast.  

  • Flowers: In the summer and autumn, it produces a ring of attractive, carmine-pink flowers around the top of each stem.

Growth Habits and Care:

  • Sunlight: Enjoys plenty of sunlight but can tolerate some light shade, especially during hot summer afternoons.
