Cleistocactus ritteri, often referred to as the "Silver Torch Cactus," is a visually striking and distinctive cactus species known for its elongated, upright growth, and silvery spines.Cleistocactus ritteri is native to the mountainous regions of Bolivia and Argentina.

Growth Habit:

  • Habit: Upright growth habit, forming tall columns.

  • Cleistocactus ritteri is a columnar cactus, with attractive bristly soft spines. Blooms are really pretty and are a lemony/yellow colour.

  • Looks great in a hanger, or a higher pot so the columns can hang over. Will take full sun but protect from the harsh summer sun.

Cultural Requirements:

  • Soil: Well-draining cactus mix or sandy soil.

Uses:
