Crassula Ivory Pagoda

$49.90

Crassula 'Ivory Pagoda' is a unique and sought-after succulent hybrid, prized for its distinctive ivory-white, columnar growth habit. It is a cross between Crassula barklyi and Crassula perfoliata var. minor, resulting in a fascinating plant that resembles a miniature pagoda.

The leaves of Crassula 'Ivory Pagoda' are tightly packed and stacked vertically along the stem, creating a striking columnar form. They are fleshy, triangular in shape, and covered in a powdery farina that gives them their characteristic ivory-white hue. The leaves are arranged in opposite pairs, forming a geometric pattern that adds to the plant's visual appeal.

Under bright sunlight, the leaves may develop a subtle pink or orange tinge, further enhancing their beauty. In ideal conditions, this slow-growing succulent can reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall and 2 inches (5 cm) wide. As it matures, it may produce offsets at the base, eventually forming a cluster of miniature pagodas.

Crassula 'Ivory Pagoda' is relatively easy to care for, preferring well-draining soil and bright light with some protection from the hot afternoon sun. It is drought-tolerant and requires infrequent watering, making it a low-maintenance choice for busy plant enthusiasts.

The first photo serves a display purpose only. The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 80mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
