Euphorbia aeruginosa, commonly known as the 'Miniature Saguaro', is a charming and unusual succulent that closely resembles the iconic Saguaro cactus of the American Southwest, but in a much smaller form. Native to South Africa.

Growth Habit: Euphorbia aeruginosa typically grows as a small, columnar succulent, reaching heights of about 6-12 inches. Its growth is slow and upright, forming multiple branches that give it a candelabra-like appearance as it matures.

Stem Characteristics: The stems of Euphorbia aeruginosa are green to blue-green and feature pronounced ribs lined with small spines. These spines are set in pairs along the ribs, adding to the cactus-like appearance of the plant.

Container Gardening: Perfect for cultivation in containers where its compact size and unique form can be appreciated up close.

Rock and Succulent Gardens: Suitable for rock gardens or succulent beds, particularly in regions with mild climates where it can be displayed outdoors.

Drought Tolerance: Extremely drought-tolerant, requiring minimal watering and well-suited to water-wise gardening.

Low Maintenance: Requires very little care once established, other than occasional watering and the removal of dead plant material.

The first photo serves a display purpose only. The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 130mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
