Haworthia cymbiformis, often referred to as Cathedral Window Haworthia, is a small, rosette-forming succulent known for its translucent, fleshy leaves and ease of care. Native to South Africa.
Growth Habit: Haworthia cymbiformis typically forms dense rosettes that can reach up to 5 inches in diameter.
Leaf Characteristics: The leaves of Haworthia cymbiformis are thick, succulent, and boat-shaped, giving rise to its species name "cymbiformis," which means boat-shaped.
Indoor Gardening: Ideal for growing indoors on windowsills, desks, or shelves where its modest size and minimal light requirements can be easily accommodated.
Rock Gardens: In suitable climates, it can be grown outdoors in rock gardens where it can enjoy the natural sunlight it loves.
Drought Tolerance: As with most succulents, Haworthia cymbiformis is highly drought-tolerant, requiring minimal watering.
Low Maintenance: This plant is easy to care for, needing only occasional watering and the occasional feeding during the growing season.
NOTE: Haworthia do like to have up to 70% shade or filtered light and its a good idea if they are kept in pots to re pot at least once per year.
