The Mangave ‘Lavender Lady’ is a novel hybrid Succulent which goes by a striking rosette form and has bluish-purple leaves. Slightly arching leaves of this plant are sword-shaped, and their unique silvery-blue to lavender color with fine dots layering all over make it stand out among the rest in any collection. The structure develops in an oval formation and is very compact, giving it a highly structured look for applications in containers or in the landscape.

Mangave ‘Lavender Lady’ grows up to 30-45 cm (12-18 inches) tall and up to 45-60 cm (18-24 inches) in diameter which means this is a rather large succulent with a strong visual presence. This plant requires a well-drained soil and it grows best in a full sun to the partial shade so that it develops bright shade of lavender. It is a dry climate adaptant plant; very easy to maintain, rarely requiring any watering once planted. As in many other Mangave hybrids, including ‘Lavender Lady,’ one can observe the positive qualities of both Agave and Manfreda – the former’s denser growth, the latter’s ornamental appearance, and non-obsessive growth rates.

  • Leaves: Graceful, lance-shaped leaves form a compact rosette. The leaves boast a stunning lavender-purple hue with subtle darker variegation and a delicate maroon margin. Each leaf tapers to a sharp, dark tip, adding a touch of drama.

  • Soil: Requires well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix.
