Pachypodium Lamerei- White Flower

Pachypodium Lamerei – White Flower also known as the Madagascar Palm is a tall succulent tree famous for its extremely thorny stem and a rich crown. However, it is not really a palm type of plant but it looks very much like one. This tree has nothing more exquisite than the beautiful white flowers it produces at the apex of the plant during summer, complementing the silvery gross black cork – like trunk.

This is a plant from Madagascar area, Pachypodium Lamerei – White Flower is a drought resistant plant that grows best in warmer temperatures with direct sunlight. It can reach up to 3 meters tall if it is to be grown in a garden, so it is good for garden landscapes. When grown indoors the plant requires bright indirect light and can be grown in a container. This is yet another species of succulent and like most types, it should be watered very little and infrequently and should be allowed to dry out before watering it again.
