Plectranthus caninus compact-tomentosa, affectionately known as the 'Vicks Plant.' Plectranthus caninus compact is a fast growing, dense, carpet forming succulent with lavender like flowers.
Growing/Leaves:
Keep moist during dry weather. Plectranthus tomentosa is also called mentholatum plant because of the aroma it gives off when brushed.
It has fuzzy gray-green leaves and bears lavender-purple flowers.
It can grow up to 30 inches tall and 24 inches wide, sometimes becoming rather woody at the base of its stems.
The leaves are lance-shaped or elliptical, with smooth margins and a glossy texture.
They vary in color from deep green to gray-green, often exhibiting a reddish tint under stress or in bright sunlight.
Key Features:
Makes a perfect addition to any succulent garden, softens other plants.
They appear from spring through to autumn.
Ideal for perennial borders, shrubberies and cottage gardens. Plant in well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position.
